270 West Jakarta Satpol PP Personnel Alerted to Anticipate PPKS Ahead of Ramadan

As many as 270 personnel of West Jakarta Satpol PP will be deployed to anticipate the surge in people with social welfare issues (PPKS) ahead of the holy month of Ramadan 1444 Hijri.

"Our personnel are alerted in eight sub-districts in West Jakarta," he expressed, Thursday (3/9).

Of 270 personnel, 150 were from city level and 120 were from sub-district level. They would be on standby in Kota Tua area, Kalideres Bus Terminal, Glodok Market, Pagi Asemka Market, Grogol area, and Tambora.

Some would also be sent to border areas such as Kalideres-Tangerang to prevent PPKS arrivals from outside Jakarta.

"For prosecution, we will prioritize persuasive and humane methods," he stated.
